Description of the Role:
The Case Manager plays a crucial role in managing the daily intake of plaintiffs seeking pre-settlement funding in the Personal Injury Industry. This position involves a diverse set of responsibilities, from handling customer intakes and processing funding requests to maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage daily intake of plaintiffs for pre-settlement funding, initiating and responding to phone calls and emails.
- Handle customer intakes, process funding requests, and provide detailed information about products and services.
- Obtain and manage necessary documents from law firms, updating customer records accordingly.
- Submit funding requests to underwriters and draft contracts with knowledge of compounding and simple interests.
- Request legal documents such as medical records, reports, statements, complaints, and demands.
- Brokers deal with partners and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
- Undertake various office-related tasks, including drafting reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Efficiently close deals while managing a caseload of 100+ calls/emails per day.
- Handle a heavy flow of incoming and outgoing phone calls to attorneys, clients, and doctor offices.
Requirements
- Excellent English communication skills. (Must have)
- 1+ year experience in a similar role in Personal Injury Industry (Must have)
- Experience managing Google Workspace, Pipedrive, Mighty, 8x8, Docusign, etc.
- Candidates must have a computer, smartphone, and a reliable internet connection.
