As we continue our global expansion, we are seeking aChief Accountantto lead our accounting function, drive strategic decision-making, and support our continued success across North American markets.

Report to: Senior Leader of Finance and Accounting
Location: Remote within Ukraine
Your Impact and Key Responsibilities:
As ourChief Accountant, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring robust financial governance while driving the company’s success.
- Month-End Close:Oversee the end-to-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, general ledger reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Financial Reporting:Maintain and prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance withUSGAAP.
- Audit Oversight:Lead internal control processes and liaise with external auditors to ensure efficient and effective financial audits.
- Cash Management:Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability and support continued growth.
- Tax Compliance:Oversee corporate income tax and sales tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate tax returns.
- MA Funding:Provide accounting support for due diligence activities in MA transactions and funding rounds.
- Technology Process Optimization:Drive automation and efficiency in financial reporting and internal accounting processes through advanced technology and ERP systems.
- Process Improvement:Continuously evaluate and refine accounting operations to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across the organization.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experiencedChief Accountantwho can scale our financial function while driving operational excellence.
Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degreein Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- AMaster’s degreeand/orCPA, CMA, or ACCA certificationis preferred.
Professional Expertise:
- Strong knowledge ofIFRS;US GAAPis a major plus.
- Experience in aglobal accounting environment, managing financial functions across multiple entities and regions.
- Solid grasp ofrevenue recognition principles, particularly in thetech sector.
- Familiarity withMicrosoft Dynamics 365: Business Centralor other ERP systems is a plus.
Key Skills Abilities:
- Strategic mindsetwith a proactive approach to financial controls and operational improvements.
- Strong attention to detailwith excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English(upper-intermediate level or above).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively withCFOs, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience withcash management, tax planning, and audit oversight.
- Familiarity withinternational financial regulations, sales tax laws, and compliance practices.
Locationflexibility: This is aremote positionwithin Ukraine, with a preference for candidates who can occasionally work from ourKyiv office.

Work Structure Collaboration
