Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Sr Quality Control Analyst follows written procedures to review and determine eligibility for a full range of legal administration claims. The Senior QC Analyst must follow documented team processes to ensure compliance at all times and be able to meet departmental standards and/or service level requirements. They also need to apply critical reasoning skills to understand decision points for more complex claims. They will provide trend information to the processing departments as well as participate in procedure development and UAT.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Understand and keep current on all department and company policy procedures

  • Use proprietary software tools to access and review claim documents, enter claim decisions, and create escalations when needed

  • Communicates timely and effectively to management any obstacles or escalations needing attention

  • Performs data entry and data verification as needed to perform work

Qualifications & Characteristics

  • GED or High School Diploma

  • 2-3+ years in claims analysis work or related experience

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Demonstrated skill in ability to analyze data

  • Demonstrated skill in critical thinking

  • Mathematical skills

  • Strong computer skills including database, MS Office
