    Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, the Communications Manager provides leadership and support in the execution of Mercys ministry communications strategy, both internal and external. The Communications Manager helps to create and influence Mercys culture and support our business objectives through consistent messages and a distinctive Mercy voice directed to co-workers, physicians, board members and other internal stakeholders as well as external audiences. This work comes in many forms including online communications, newsletters, scripts, executive correspondence, reports, award nominations, videos and other communications vehicles. The role works collaboratively with other Mercy departments to serve specific communications projects and needs, and with other members of the Integrated Marketing team in support of shared strategies. The Communications Manager will perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Mercy.Position Details:

    Education Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, public relations or similar area of study

    Experience Requirements

    • Internal communications experience corporate or agency.

    • Demonstrated experience in organizational communications

    • Ability to work as a part of team that is both local and virtual
