We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all candidates meet compliance requirements for registration with our agency. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing candidate documentation and follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Registration:
- Organise and communicate among candidates and team members during the registration process.
- Introduce yourself to candidates and provide a comprehensive list of required documents
Document Collection and Verification:
- Collect and review essential candidate documents, including CVs, references, proof
of identity, proof of address, DBS certificates, mandatory training certificates, and Hep B vaccinations.
- Ensure all documents are complete, accurate, and match the candidate’s details before uploading to our compliance management system.
Follow-Up and Communication:
- Proactively follow up with candidates via WhatsApp or phone calls to request missing documentation.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates throughout the compliance process.
Reference Checks:
- Send out reference requests to referees provided by candidates and follow up.
DBS Verification:
- Verify existing DBS certificates using the designated online platform.
- Address any convictions noted on DBS checks, ensuring candidates provide required statements and that clients are informed accordingly.
Mandatory Training Management:
- Verify the validity of mandatory training certificates provided by candidates.
- Coordinate and book necessary training modules through our training provider if candidates lack valid training
