Dominion Financial Services (DFS) is a mortgage originator for single family real estate. DFS originates two main loan products – a short-term bridge loan for fix & flip investors, and a long-term rental loan for landlords growing their rental portfolios. DFS is thriving in the current competitive environment and shows aggressive quarterly growth. Our current origination volume is $70MM per month. DFS is looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our growing team.

In This Role You Will:
  • Review and audit loan files to ensure they are in compliance with the lending guidelines and are error free
  • Track and clear any post-closing exceptions in a timely basis
  • Assist other DFS members in coordinating settlements with title companies and borrower
  • Obtain financial information and property information from borrowers.
  • Ensure all Loan files are in compliance with Dominion Financial Services, LLC Standards
  • Maintain all loan files and informing upper management of any files that are about to be or currently out of compliance
  • Review borrower financials, document pertinent information, provide recommended approval amounts and talk intelligently about the borrower
Requirements:
  • 3+ Years of experience in lending
  • Experience with Qualify Control
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Outlook and Adobe

Other Qualifications include:
  • Applicant must be always willing to ask questions and do research when applicable
  • Applicant must be extremely detailed oriented
  • Applicant must be entrepreneurial and have the will to achieve and grow
  • Applicant must be very good on the phone and in person
