Overview
This Composites auditor position is an excellent opportunity for recent retirees or consultants that have experience in compression molding, core and / or liquid resin processing, metal bond, adhesive bonding, basic physical, mechanical and chemical properties of composite materials.

Qualifications
The ideal auditor candidate will possess most of the following criteria:
One to three (1-3) years of auditing experience
Three (3) years direct experience (aerospace industry preferred) in the following aspects of composites: basic physical, mechanical and chemical properties of composite materials; basic raw material testing methods; storage, handling and environmental controls; facilities experience (autoclaves, laser projectors, ply cutters); processing of various composite materials; bagging procedures and tooling requirements
Three (3) years experience (aerospace industry preferred) in at least two of the following major composite fabrication processes: Prepreg/Adhesive Bonding, Metal Bonding and Core Processing
Quality Assurance Experience
Performance Review Institute (PRI) is a not-for-profit trade organization dedicated to the continual improvement of quality in critical industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical, nuclear, and oil/gas. The organization provides expert quality and special process training worldwide through its PRI Training program, covering diverse topics including root cause corrective action, welding, pyrometry, and statistical process control. PRI also conducts composites auditing services, specializing in compression molding, core processing, liquid resin processing, and material bonding techniques. The institute partners with subject matter experts and independent contractors to deliver training and auditing services that support safety and quality standards across multiple industries.
