Job Description

Company Description

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.

Hello, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time-consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to hubs in Austin and San Francisco, which are now home to our US operations. So whether you're in Texas or California, you have choice in where and how you work in each of those states. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

As our Content Specialist, you’ll be the champion of crafting effective content for our Strategic Sales audience, making every employee and decision-maker in large organizations feel empowered to design.

Your role is all about:

  • Collaborating with Sales, Enablement, and Marketing teams to understand and meet the needs of our Strategic Sales audience.
  • Producing a variety of content, including pitch decks, onboarding guides, microsites, thought leadership, ABM campaigns, newsletters, and more.
  • Conducting train-the-trainer sessions, ensuring our team is up to speed and ready to deliver outstanding training materials.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Collaborate closely with our Sales team to tailor content to the needs of our B2B customers.
  • Develop and implement content plans impacting various touchpoints and funnel stages to support enterprise growth.
  • Innovate ways to educate on Canva’s core features and relevant business skills, ensuring every customer is engaged.

You're probably a match if

  • You’re a creative all-rounder, skilled in developing engaging learning content for pre-sale and post-sale B2B audiences.
  • Have a deep understanding of B2B needs, especially in large enterprises.
  • A pro at facilitation and training, with phenomenal time management skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience in educating through content creation and delivery.
  • Proficiency in creating diverse content formats with excellent copy skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas and deliver quality branded content.
  • Excellent decision-making, project management, and communication skills.

About the Team

In the Design Education team, we're all about engaging and delighting our community with content that not only wows them but also empowers their creative journey. Whether it's our free and Pro users, B2B customers, educational institutions, or non-profits, we’re here to show the incredible ease and value of Canva, helping everyone achieve their personal and professional dreams.

What We Do

We're the architects behind the educational content on Canva's products and features. Our content, living on our Design School platform and across various marketing channels like emails, landing pages, and sales materials, is crafted to empower our users to design with confidence and ease.

Who We Are

Think of us as a dynamic mix of designers, teachers, writers, facilitators, creators, and doers. We're passionate about in-person and in-product learning, continuously evolving our skills and courses to keep pace with Canva's ever-growing library of content and features. We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic B2B Content Specialist to join our vibrant Design Education team for a 6-month adventure!

Other stuff to know

We make hiring decisions to engage contractors based on your experience, skills and passion. When you signify interest in the Project, please tell us the pronouns you use and any reasonable adjustments you may need during the contractor-accreditation interview process.

We celebrate all types of skills and backgrounds at Canva so even if you don’t feel like your skills quite match what’s listed above - we still want to hear from you!

Please note that contractor-accreditation meetings are conducted virtually.
