The Role
We are looking for a highly creative Content Writer who can shape the stories on our website and landing pages to improve our SEO. This role requires someone who can build a content engine that blends storytelling with impact, consistency, and performance. Your storytelling will influence how people understand, trust, and remember our brand.
This is a full-time opportunity but is open to freelancers as well.
What You’ll Do
Craft compelling articles, blogs, newsletters, website content, and educational resources across websites, landing pages, blog sites, and product touchpoints.
Translate technical or regulatory topics into clear, engaging, and accessible content.
Analyse content performance and optimise strategy based on traffic, engagement, and reach.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Design, Legal, and Business teams to develop accurate and impactful content.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions, content series, campaigns, and brand storytelling initiatives.
Ensure storytelling remains cohesive, authentic, and aligned with BJAK’s voice.
Stay attuned to cultural trends, audience behaviors, and evolving content formats.
Identify storytelling opportunities that resonate across different markets and communities.
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in content creation, storytelling, copywriting, or related creative roles.
Strong storytelling ability across websites, landing pages, and blogsites.
Understanding of digital platforms, audience behavior, and content trends.
Ability to develop ideas and shape them into clear, engaging narratives.
Excellent command of both English and Malay.
A portfolio showcasing creative content work.
Location
This role is based in Malaysia. This is a hybrid role. You are expected to work from our Malaysia office at least 3 days per week.
Language
English is our main working language across global teams. Strong English communication is required.

A1 is building a proactive AI smart assistant designed for everyday users to bring intelligence to conversations, errands, organizing, and workflows. The company's product focuses on achieving high reliability for long-running workflows with persistent context and real-world task completion capabilities. The system handles multi-step reasoning, interacts with external tools, and maintains reliability despite non-deterministic model behavior. A1 is developing production AI systems that serve features across mobile and desktop clients, with a focus on latency, correctness, reliability, and cost optimization.
