The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a(n) Continuous Improvement Specialists-Global Logistics and Distribution, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading and supporting breakthrough projects and kaizen events that have high impact on business results while improving customer experience.
  • Teaching, mentoring and coaching colleagues (fka Green Belts) to becoming problem solvers.
  • Leading brainstorming and hopper sessions to identify continuous improvement opportunities and problems to solved.
  • Communicating improvement progress to Champions, Leadership Teams and CI Leader establishing control plans and monitoring appropriate metrics to validate improvements are achieved, tracked and sustained.
  • Influencing the organization cross-functionally and leading management of change activities

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in a business, finance, or marketing or Operations discipline from an accredited university AND seven (7) years of experience in operations, logistics or business.

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from AND eleven (11) years of experience in operations, logistics or business.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Five years experience in supply chain, manufacturing and/or logistics functions.
  • Previous LSS Black Belt certification
  • Prior experience participating in Green Belt Projects and/or Green Belt Certification
  • Exceptional facilitation, communication and teaching skills
  • High Potential Code in your current or recent Employee Performance Review

Remote

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
