Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Working as part of cross-functional teams whilst providing technical leadership
• Be responsible for estimating development efforts on a project
• Making substantial contributions to the design and development of scalable and high-performance front-end solutions, coded in TypeScript and utilising React.
• Championing and promoting high standards and best practices to maintain code quality.
• Crafting code that is testable, emphasising scalability, reliability, and resilience.
• Apply modern styling techniques to create visually appealing and responsive designs that adhere to accessibility standards, particularly WCAG.
• Identify and research emerging market trends to ensure you are always on top of your game.

Essential Skills

• Strong knowledge and experience in Typescript, React, Redux, React Router & SCSS
• Experience of working within an agile environment
• At least five years of development experience
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development
• Strong knowledge of software development practices, processes and theories, especially around Agile Development Principles
• Worked with OpenAPI specifications to help define API requirements and contracts, collaborating with backend developers to agree on best approaches when scoping work.
