What are you going to do?

Occupy a unique position in the market, where you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining the data governance framework within the People and Places organization.
- Execute data quality standards and implement data validation rules.
- Conduct regular data quality assessments and generate reports on data quality issues. Collaborate with data owners and stewards to resolve data quality problems.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy and security policies (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Implement and maintain data classification standards and assist in establishing and enforcing data access controls.
- Document and maintain comprehensive data lineage.
- Develop and manage metadata standards for data elements and datasets.
- Create and maintain data dictionaries and catalogs.
- Support the implementation of data governance workflows (e.g., data request and approval, issue management).
- Assist in developing and maintaining the business glossary and contribute to data onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Help establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for data governance.
- Generate regular reports on data governance effectiveness and participate in data governance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
