Overview:

You will report to the Senior Manager of Revenue, rolling up under the Chief Accounting Officer org. As part of LivePerson's Revenue Accounting Team, you'll be at the forefront of revolutionizing accounting practices. We prioritize automation and agility, driving efficiency in revenue reporting through collaborative use of cutting-edge tools and technologies. While Python and advanced analytics are part of our toolkit, our focus extends beyond any single language or platform.

In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead customer contract management and negotiations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ASC606 standards. Your primary focus will be on meticulously entering contracts into Salesforce, conducting detailed ASC606 analysis for each contract, and identifying the five-step process for revenue recognition. You'll also provide crucial support in weekly contract analysis, contributing to the team's overall success.

You will:

  • Manage the accurate entry of contracts into Salesforce CRM, ensuring alignment with revenue recognition standards.
  • Conduct detailed ASC606 analysis for each contract to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment.
  • Identify and apply the five-step revenue recognition process for each contract, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Provide support in weekly contract analysis, assisting in identifying trends and potential issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Revenue Operations, and Finance, to ensure seamless contract management and revenue recognition processes.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in contract management and revenue recognition.

You have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Order Management, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, Sales Operations or Finance Operations roles
  • 5+ years’ experience with Salesforce CRM and CPQ tool or similar price quoting platform
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and GSuite
  • Experience working with a remote sales team is preferred, ability to build effective working relationships
  • Highly organized, innovative and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks consistently meeting deadlines
  • Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience desired
