Job Description

My responsibilities:

  • Supporting product teams with quality assurance based state-of-the-art continuous integration and deployment within CI/CD pipelines
  • Automated testing (UAT, Integration, Security, Performance, etc.)
  • Coud infrastructure provisioning/deployment
  • Container build/deployment
  • Application build/deployment
  • You are part of the agile product teams to bring in your deep operations know-how to optimize for the best reliability and availability focused on end user experience of the provided service
  • In the context of ‘continuous monitoring & optimization’ you help to implement and invent the right monitoring and alerting solutions guaranteeing early failure detection and fast incident resolve
  • Incident-, Change-, Problem-Management Processes need to be supported and optimized to be future-proof and ‘DevOps compliant’
  • You are the factor moving a Dev team to DevOps
  • You ensure to run what we build and to invent E-2-E responsibility

The knowledge I own:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer
  • Azure cloud provider experience is required
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is a big plus (AEM On Prem and Cloud models, AEM Author, Dispatcher, Publisher, understanding AEM as a cloud, deployment processes, content migration to environments, JCR database, dynamic media and APIs)
  • Comprehensive knowledge in the following areas: Source code management (Git) and Microservice architectures
  • Experience as DevOps Engineer in agile Product Teams with proven persuasiveness and strong intercultural communicative competence
  • Comprehensive knowledge in the following areas: CI/CD tooling (Gitlab, Jenkins, Argo CDetc.)
  • Knowledge of HTTP protocol and web technologies (Content Delivery Networks, Web Application Firewalls, proxies, security, caching, etc)
  • Knowledge of Containers and orchestration frameworks (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Swarm, etc.)
  • Experience with Infrastructure/configuration as code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • Experience in operations, strong automation attitude
  • Willingness to work on call
  • Proficiency in English

Nice to have:

  • Good Understanding of Distributed Systems and ability to work with cloud-based architecture is beneficial
  • Apache Webserver usage, testing frameworks are a big plus
  • Experience with Monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, New Relic, etc.) is advantegous
