Job Description
Responsibilities:
Architect Reliability Solutions: Design and implement SRE practices to ensure system availability, scalability, and performance.
Enhance System Resilience: Proactively address potential failures and minimize downtime through effective strategies.
Lead Incident Management: Respond to incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and develop runbooks for future prevention.
Optimize Monitoring & Alerting: Develop robust systems to monitor and maintain system health, ensuring SLAs are met.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and maintain IaC solutions using tools like Terraform or Ansible for consistent deployments.
Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee cloud operations on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, focusing on high availability.
Automate Processes: Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline SRE and DevOps practices.
Perform other tasks assigned by the Leader/ Manager.
Qualifications
General requirements:
- Available for 3-6 months on-site in the US
- Advanced level of English.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience in SRE Engineer or DevOps role.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in Azure cloud services, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring
- Proven experience in automating software delivery pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, Powershell Or Go.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like SonarQube, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
- Experienced with incident management, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
