Our Engineering community is growing, and we’re now looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/f/*) to join our team supporting our global growth.

As DevOps Engineer, you steer our projects using your deep experience, best practices, and a collaborative attitude. You lead a team turning customer requirements into complex and reliable deployments. Using Linux, and Cloudera Data Platform, you deliver our services directly to clients.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Implement client requirements via the deployment and optimization of large-scale clustered systems, and via applications based in Linux, cloud environments, or big data projects
  • Support clients and development teams in the transition from development and testing to operations and production, automating as much as possible along the way
  • You shape the path for how your team’s project will be implemented and demonstrate the quality of the team’s work 
  • You make a difference as the key contributor improving the output quality of the team.

Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Experience working in an agile, fast-paced environment and the ability to adapt to new projects
  • 3+ years of experience as DevOps, SysAdmin or in a similar role
  • Experience in Docker and Kubernetes, with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform, and scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Java is preferable
  • Ability to implement best practices for software engineering in an agile environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (minimum B2) and English
