JOB SUMMARY:We are looking to add to our professional, dedicated and hard-working team an independent, talented, and multidisciplinary Designer with a great work ethic who thrives in organizations that constantly adapt and evolve. You’ll get to demonstrate your creativity on a variety of project types: web design, brand and visual identity, and digital marketing. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of what it takes to develop and/or apply a brand across a wide variety of design deliverables and mediums
What Your Impact Will Look Like Here
- Works under one or multiple art directors on various projects at a time.
- Acts as an extension of staff to DMO clients to help create design assets that include but are not limited to: website design, digital or print design, and/or logo and brand design.
- Works within a very refined set of processes and under clear deadlines to ensure delivery of assets that are under budget, on time, and meet internal and external expectations.
- May collaborate with other designers when appropriate but is mainly responsible for sole execution of a project from start to finish.
- Maintains organizational detail in their work, such as design notes, mood boards, clean file structure, and work that is free of error.
- Completes time entries on a daily basis to ensure proper tracking of project scope and budget.

- Talented visual designer that can create original designs from scratch and provide expert creative and technical direction on the overall look, feel, and function of their work.
- Well-versed in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools, softwares, or applications.
- Interested in ‘why’ and ‘how’. Be able to understand why the project is important and how to find solutions that meet all required goals, while delivering stunning work.
- Able to conceptualize ideas in creative brainstorming sessions with creative leadership and other XD or Simpleview team members to generate new ideas and a path forward.
- Capable of producing compelling artwork like icons, illustrations, patterns, and maps.
- Understanding of typography and visual identity/branding are a must.
- Knowledge of UX/UI laws and best practices are a must.
- Able to organize and prepare final artwork and think about functional and technical production in order to collaborate with front-end and CMS developers.
- Able to manage their time to juggle multiple projects with strict deadlines, be proactive when seeking feedback or collaboration, and can act as a team player to assist or support other designers when necessary. PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Can present their thoughts and decisions about their work to clients in professional meetings and settings.
- Knowledge of designing for various digital marketing strategies, like campaigns, landing pages, and ads.
- General understanding of user and behavioral psychology.
