The Granicus Accounting team is a dynamic and high performing group that partners with both internal and external customers to drive success for the Company. We are looking for a motivated and effective leader to head up our AR collections team. The ideal candidate would be resourceful, flexible with requests, enjoys solving problems and is effective at managing relationships and communicating. This position is a remote in Costa Rica.

What Your Impact Will Look Like Here

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable team and staff training (team of 3-7).
  • Oversee month-end AP close process including account reconciliation, review AP vendor invoices for account and department coding and perform sync to general ledger.
  • Create and maintain AP policies, processes, controls, and tools to meet corporate goals.
  • Manage and streamline AP process.
  • Monitor AP aging and cash forecasting metrics and understand trends to proactively manage AP.
  • Run reports and analyze data pertaining to the department and share with executive staff and managers of department staff as needed.
  • Lead AP integration and Vendor and Employee transition efforts for acquired companies.
  • Provide post accounting integration support to the acquired company team members.
  • Support year-end audit requests and auditor questions.
  • Assist the team with large one-off projects.

  • 5+ years of related experience in AP and Expense Reimbursement.
  • BA/BS in Accounting or a related field.
  • Communicate well with team members and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented, with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Enjoy mentoring team members.
  • Effective project management skills, including challenging the status quo and identifying needs to re-assess existing approaches/processes.
  • Adaptable and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, experience with NetSuite, Chrome River, Egencia, and AvidXchange is a plus.
