The ROLE

The Director, Client Accounts role focuses on four main areas:

  1. Formulate and execute a sales strategy within an assigned territory resulting in revenue growth and new customer acquisition.
  2. Coaching and developing account executives into sales leaders.
  3. Embody executive presence, land executive meetings, and drive conversations at leadership levels.
  4. Communicates Syniti’s value proposition.

This is a quota carrying role, responsible for acquiring, expanding, and managing large accounts. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly driven, goal-oriented, and methodical. Demonstrated success and know-how across the full sales cycle from qualification to contract close is critical to success in this role.

The Director, Client Account will focus on software and services sales ultimately driving our customer’s success.

This role can be remote based in the US.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Formulate and execute a sales strategy within an assigned territory resulting in revenue growth and new customer acquisition.
    • Prospect and develop new business collaborating with partners to drive incremental pipeline.
    • Territory management setting weekly priorities.
    • Orchestrate team selling alongside marketing, SAP alliances, solution architects, and regional delivery leaders.
    • Manage complex, enterprise-wide sales cycles toward goal of meeting/exceeding quarterly annual sales targets.
    • Accurate forecasting and regular sales reviews.
    • Ensuring we have satisfied and referenceable customers.
    • Travel as required.
  • Coaching and developing account executives into sales leaders.
    • Provide guidance to account executives where they consistently execute complex sales cycles.
    • Coach account executives on executive presence and ability to secure executive meetings.
  • Embody executive presence, land executive meetings, and drive conversations at leadership levels.
    • Understand business outcomes in a range of industries, drive topics of interest to executives based on their role, and tying Syniti’s value to the client’s end-goal for success.
    • Land executive alignment meetings through emails, LinkedIn, or other methods.
    • Understand client politics and relationship maps.
    • Communicate with conciseness.
  • Communicate Syniti’s value proposition.
    • Sell a complete solution of software, services and support to ensure customer success.
    • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Syniti products, accounts, competitors, and partners.
    • Understanding customer needs, industry vertical, goals, challenges, constraints, and client peer market trends.

WHAT IT TAKES

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Technology discipline would be an advantage.
  • Have the legal right to live and work in the US.
  • Ideally at least 12+ years proven direct sales experience and leading a successful team; software sales/service preferred (large enterprise customers).
  • Experience in coaching and growing leaders.
  • Experience with Sandler or similar sales methodology, preferred.
  • Experience in territory and pipeline management including prospecting, driving, orchestrating and closing complex sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated value and solutions sales experience.
  • Contacts with industry decision makers including customers, Partners (SAP) and System Integrators (IBM, Accenture, Deloitte, others).
  • Goal oriented, with a track record of overachievement (President’s Club, Rep of the Year, etc.)
  • Highly driven, possessing a strong desire to be successful.
  • Disciplined and skilled in managing time and resources; sound approach to qualifying opportunities.
  • Possesses aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility.
  • Detailed oriented in negotiating contracts and terms.
  • Strong work ethic, hands on style.
  • Committed team player with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
