Gong is looking to hire our Director of Events to supercharge the events function at Gong. This role will report to the VP of Brand Marketing and is an opportunity to take a successful events game to the next level. You will have the opportunity to scale the events function for the leading revenue intelligence company that is driving innovation in the fastest growing areas of technology including AI, machine learning, cloud, and the subscription economy.

  • Own the event strategy for the top AI company leading the revenue intelligence market, Gong.
  • Drive demand generation goals by creating events that will create leads, and, more importantly, pipeline, with good ROI.
  • Prioritize, develop effective processes, and partner with leaders across all levels to drive cross-functional event initiatives.
  • Present monthly and quarterly results to senior leadership and provide thoughtful recommendations based on data-backed insights.
  • Inspire the event team (now and future members) and guide their growth.
  • Deploy a multi-million dollar budget to continue Gong’s success, including scaling our flagship customer conference to thousands of attendees and beyond.

  • 10+ years of experience in Events Roles (4+ years in creative leadership).
  • Analytical mind with strong business acumen and the ability to understand tradeoffs and ROI of program spend.
  • Strong creative skills to create “wow” moments through events and field marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting in executive-level settings.
  • Strong collaborator and easy to work with across time-zones.
  • Ability to think strategically and “Favor the Long Term”.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and get things done.

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $204,300 - $227,000 USD.

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
