We are seeking a dynamic Director of Marketing Communications to take charge of all marketing initiatives, including social media, digital campaigns, advertising, and creative projects. Lead the organization's efforts in brand management, content creation, audience development, and external relations. Will be responsible for designing and overseeing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy, ensuring consistent brand positioning, and guiding the optimization of marketing initiatives to support the organization's goals. This role involves serving as a strategic leader for the brand, building and supervising a team, and leading external relations with media, stakeholders, and community-based organizations. The ideal candidate is a healthcare champion, with at least 10 years of experience in marketing and communications, and a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
The Director of Marketing Communications, will be responsible for creating strategic plans to establish and enhance our brand presence, allocating resources to different projects, and setting both short-term and long-term goals for the department. Oversees strategic planning, development and coordination of all marketing communications programs to promote the sale of company products and further the company's sales objectives. Consults with other areas of management or business units, sales departments, and advertising agencies to leverage web marketing, trade show activity and direct marketing. Manages the preparation of sales aids, controls advertising and public relations projects, and recommends the media best suited to sell specific products or services. Interacts with vendors to produce promotional material. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Responsibilities
- Oversees all aspects of marketing, external and internal communication within an organization.
- Crafting Strategies: develop strategic marketing plans, allocate resources, and set short-term and long-term goals for various marketing teams, including digital, advertising, communications, and creative teams.
- Brand Messaging: ensure consistent brand messaging across different marketing channels is crucial. Drive brand relevance, consistency, and engagement across all touchpoints.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the marketing communications department.
- Analyzing Consumer Behavior: Research and analyze consumer behavior, identify market opportunities, and design branding strategies.
- Coordination: Coordinate sales and marketing efforts and participating in company planning.
- Crisis Management: Takes overall responsibility for internal and external communications, including crisis management.
- Direct audience/consumer research, competitive analysis to identify opportunities in the market that can be exploited and worked on.
- Strategize and collaborate with the sales and product management teams to develop compact go-to-market strategies for existing products and services while coming up with new marketing ideas based on the research.
- Collaborate with the R&D department and finding the feasibility of the products and services to maintain smooth communication both externally and internally.
- Nurture leads and engage customers by directing the development and execution of a sound digital marketing strategy based on market and consumer research.
- Develop the required changes in the digital marketing strategy based on timely data given by analytical tools.
- Direct social media efforts on various social networks, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
- Expand partnership with social media influencers to increase the company’s brand reach and strength.
- Track the performance of marketing strategies implemented and come up with timely modifications to nurture more leads online.
- Plan and spearhead marketing events and other campaigns to strengthen public relations and our company’s presence where it matters the most.
- Collaborate with content teams and distributing partners to ensure an integrated marketing strategy that works smoothly on all its levels.
- Develop an annual marketing budget and keeping track of the resource needs for proper long-term and short-term scheduling.
- Keep track of the performing and non-performing aspects of the marketing strategy at all levels of the business.
Requirements and skills:
Position requires the person be a versatile marketing and communications professional with a big picture mindset and the ability to implement tactical strategies. The role demands an exceptional writer and presenter, an agile and resourceful team player, and a tech-savvy marketer who is proficient in marketing technologies and data analysis. The candidate should be an adept manager, experienced in building and coaching teams, and be adept at crisis communications and reputation management. As a senior leader, the position will also be expected to contribute to the overall organizational strategy and play an active role in the company's expansion and new program initiatives.
- Work experience as Director of Marketing, preferably within our industry
- Experience running successful marketing campaigns
- Solid knowledge of web analytics and Google Adwords
- Experience with CRM software
- Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals
- Analytical mind
- BSc or MSc in Marketing or relevant field
- Ability, competence, and confidence to lead people
- Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent. Masters Degree preferred.
- 10+ years of related experience, 7 years management experience.

The base pay range for this position is
Min $147,700 - Max $266,000The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
