Job Description

Symmetrio is currently recruiting a Director of Marketing position for our customer, a leading multi-national medical technology company. This role will lead all regional marketing activities including business development for the various solutions and life cycle business. It will serve as business driver for both sales & service activities, own top and bottom-line performance, while setting the long-term market strategy and coordinate strategy between business lines and global regions. The marketing team also runs both national and regional trade shows and events.

The candidate will be responsible for the leadership, development, and success of a diverse team. The candidate will build and lead the marketing for success, develop and implement marketing plans, foster team development and align resources strategically. Candidate can be based out any major US hub.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay, excellent benefits, PTO and 401K match.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the regional marketing strategy.
  • Actively identify new market opportunities and partnerships across the region.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and service teams to ensure alignment in customer engagement and long-term sales growth.
  • Drive revenue growth while managing expenses to ensure profitability across the region.
  • Lead and inspire a diverse marketing team.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of marketing staff.
  • Facilitate collaboration between teams (sales, product development, and global marketing teams).
  • Align human and financial resources strategically to meet short- and long-term goals.
  • Plan and manage the company’s presence at trade shows, conferences, and events.
  • Oversee all regional marketing communications, ensuring alignment with global standards.
  • Develop strategies for product positioning and lifecycle management.
  • Work with global and regional teams to create marketing plans.
  • Leverage experience working in multi-functional and multi-cultural environments.
  • Take initiative and lead marketing efforts from the ground up when needed.
  • Engage in groundwork tasks such as analyzing market trends and refining tactical plans.
  • Use data analytics to drive marketing campaigns, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/University Degree – MBA or similar preferred
  • 5+ yrs experience in a senior management role – proven track record in managing people directly and indirectly
  • 10+ yrs experience in senior commercial roles with strong sales interaction
  • Track record in working in complex, multi-functional, multi-cultural and international environments
  • Self-starting, entrepreneurial mind-set – not shying away from doing groundwork when needed
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal – proficient in regional languages preferred
  • Willing to travel 30% of time
