At Unimacts Global, we're seeking a Director of Engineering who will bridge the gap between our groundbreaking engineering capabilities and the dynamic needs of our customers. This pivotal role involves a close partnership with our sales teams to craft bespoke solutions that not only meet but exceed customer expectations.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead with Expertise: Utilize your deep understanding of the Wire and Cable industry, particularly at utility and OEM scales, to guide our engineering vision and strategy.
  • Collaborate to Innovate: Work intimately with the sales team and customers, identifying their challenges and engineering tailor-made solutions that leverage Unimacts Global’s capabilities.
  • Drive Technical Excellence: Oversee the creation and implementation of technical sales assets, from Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and material to comprehensive implementation plans and solution designs.
  • Champion Our Solutions: Become an evangelist for Unimacts Global in the Wire and Cable community, representing our brand and technical prowess at industry events, conferences, and meetups.
  • Foster Development: Engage with internal teams—product, marketing, engineering—to relay customer feedback and market needs, driving product enhancements that align with our strategic goals.

Your Impact:

  • Conversion: Lead the technical evaluation process, enhancing lead conversion and closing opportunities by aligning our solutions with customer needs.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure customer satisfaction through effective solution delivery, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Enablement: Collaborate across teams to ensure a seamless customer journey, from initial contact through successful solution deployment and beyond.
  • Presentation & Value Analysis: Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations that articulate the value and innovation of our solutions, aiding in the qualification and analysis of client needs.

Requirements

About You:

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field underpins your practical experience, providing a solid theoretical basis for your work.
  • Experienced Innovator: You bring a rich background in solutions or sales engineering within the SaaS technology space, ideally with exposure to highly regulated industries such as government, finance, or utilities.
  • Technical Savant with a Human Touch: Your technical acumen in the Wire and Cable domain is matched by your interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to translate complex engineering concepts into compelling narratives.
  • Strategic Thinker: With a commercial mindset, you're passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems, driving growth and innovation.
