About the role:The Director, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) plays a critical role in guiding the financial strategy and decision-making processes of the organization. This position oversees financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support business objectives and drive sustainable growth. The Director, FP&A collaborates with senior leadership to provide insights, recommendations, and actionable strategies based on rigorous financial analysis. What you will do:o Lead the development of annual operating budgets, long-term financial plans, and forecasts.o Collaborate with department heads to understand business drivers and incorporate them into financial projections.o Identify and analyze variances between actual performance and forecasts, providing explanations and recommendations to management.o Conduct in-depth analysis of financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.o Provide actionable insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making and drive performance improvements.o Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to evaluate the potential impact of various business decisions.o Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to monitor financial and operational performance.o Prepare and present regular financial reports and performance updates to senior management and the board of directors.o Monitor industry trends and benchmarks to assess the company's competitive position and identify areas for improvement.o Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, new product launches, and geographic expansion.o Provide financial guidance and analysis for business case development, investment evaluations, and ROI assessments.o Evaluate and recommend opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.o Identify and assess financial risks, including market volatility, regulatory changes, and liquidity constraints.o Develop risk mitigation strategies and internal controls to safeguard the company's financial assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.o Lead a team of financial analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to foster professional growth and development.o Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the FP&A function.o Recruit and retain top talent, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and capabilities to deliver on strategic objectives. About you:o Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.o CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certification is a plus.o 10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a minimum of 5+ years in a leadership role.o Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.o Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear and actionable insights.o Proven track record of driving results, influencing decision-making, and partnering with senior leadership to achieve business objectives.o Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead through change.o Proficiency in financial systems and software, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and Excel.What We Offer:
