This is a highly visible role within the organization with direct interactions with executive leadership to conceptualize, prioritize and deliver the companies north star roadmap. 

The Product team is currently looking for a highly skilled individual to grow with the organization, managing stakeholders across verticals and setting up the right priorities for delivering on both short- and long-term initiatives. 

Reporting directly to the VP of Product Management, the Director of Product will own a HICX product line and define the solution that will enable HICX to best serve new and existing customers by creating best-in-class solutions. 

Position Overview

    • Define and own the long-term product vision.
    • Develop a product strategy, build and own the roadmap and prioritize accordingly.
    • Own the end-to-end processes related to product discovery, from identifying problems and opportunities, to defining solutions that will be delivered to HICX customers.
    • Hire, onboard and mentor great product managers and product designers to build a world-class team.
    • Communicate with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their needs.
    • Make the tough decisions about what HICX will and will not do, balancing long-term product vision with short term commercial pressures. Justify this with clear analysis.
    • Continuously drive process development: improvement in ideation, conceptualization, implementation, and qualification of new features.
    • Create, maintain, and prioritize product development phasing and backlog, including requirement grooming, and making verbal and written recommendations to management.
    • Define best working practices with engineering, quality, product delivery teams.
    • Support sales, pre-sales, account management and customer success winning new and retain existing customer accounts.
    • Support internal teams improving the onboarding experience for new customer accounts.
    • Proactively research and identify technology trends that may be advantageous to the realization and continued adoption of HICX’s product offering globally.
    • Look beyond where the market is today and ensure that the company maintains a competitive advantage.

Requirements

    • 6+ years in a product management or solution architect leadership role for a B2B SaaS-related solution.
    • The candidate needs to have proven experience in delivering through agile methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in managing large, complex programs/projects that have a significant impact.
    • An ideal candidate
      • has expert level understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.
      • understands the intricacies of master data management and governance.
      • has a knowledge about supplier risk management, ESG, supplier performance management.
      • Has a good understanding of technologies and is not afraid or shy’s away from learning new technologies.
    • Understanding of the SaaS product management process with hands-on experience of creating and managing the product backlog, working with technical teams to prioritize and deliver features.
    • Is obsessed with modern UI and UX practices.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, internally and externally.
    • The ability to take customer needs and translate them to solution requirements that can be used by product teams for development is required.
    • Work with the development team on User Interface (UI) design/validation, sprint reviews, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    • Proven ability to execute an end-to-end solution lifecycle.
