This role will be responsible for shaping the organizational processes in the Produce to Deliver life cycle phase of the Collins Management System. This position works closely with Operations leaders across the Missions’ organization to identify best practices and set the organization up to implement those practices. Responsible for the new product introduction function across Mission Systems Operations. This includes establishing standard process, standard work, and consistently following the Collins Management System (CMS).

This position will have decision making authority and be responsible to develop and drive standard work, lead planning workshops, problem resolution, negotiated solutions, communication, and coordination across the Missions Operations team. This position requires an individual with a practical operations background and that can identify best practices in the business and formalize across the enterprise, including roll-out plans with training and communication.

What You Will Do

Responsible for the produce to deliver CMS product Lifecycle map, including identification of best practices translated into standard work

Develops and executes roadmaps to establish defined CMS standards in Mission Systems

Helps drives Capability Councils

Works cross-functionally, across multiple organization levels to gain consensus for products and processes

Leads Operations reviews for source selection, and/or core and non-core product evaluation as a part of the New Product Introduction process

Leads efficiency projects (CPH, cost reduction, etc.) in collaboration with site/Value Stream key stakeholders

A change agent who leads and facilitate improvements with businesses to completion, including resolution and organizational buy-in for process changes

What You Must Have

Typically requires University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 18 years of relevant experience

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract ​

The salary range for this role is 171,000 USD - 343,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
