Summary

The Director Strategic Initiatives is a proactive, results-driven individual who will lead Intellum’s strategic initiatives to drive growth and operational scalability. This is a project leadership role that will manage major cross-functional initiatives such as new product launches, market expansions, and large-scale process optimizations.

This role reports to the COO and will work closely with other executives and senior leadership team members across the breadth of the company.

Program Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of strategic programs, including product commercialization efforts, customer expansion strategies, and operational improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
  • Leads cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and driving accountability.

Project Risk and Resource Management

  • Proactively identify risks, developing mitigation plans to keep initiatives on track
  • Facilitate solutions to roadblocks arising during program execution
  • Monitor resource bandwidth, working with cross-functional leaders to resolve resource constraints and to minimize project resourcing costs

Change Management

  • Effectively incorporates change management tactics into programs

Data Analysis & Insights:

  • Leverage data and analytics to guide decision making, track progress, and measure program impact.
  • Provide regular status reporting to leadership and project stakeholders .

Process Improvements & Scalability

  • Build scalable processes and frameworks for managing initiatives, enabling the organization to execute efficiently on projects as it grows
  • Drive continuous improvement by gathering feedback, refining processes, and sharing best practices

Metrics/Goals

Successful delivery of strategic initiatives on time, within scope, and on budget. Measurable business impact (i.e. revenue growth, retention, operational efficiency, etc) tied to completed programs.

Required Skills

  • Proven project management experience across complex, multi-phase, high profile projects in a fast-paced, change-heavy environment. Experience with operational transformation projects is preferred.
  • Ability to translate high-level goals into actionable plans and outcomes.
  • Strong sense of ownership and urgency, with the ability to operate independently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to align, motivate, and influence senior stakeholders.
  • SaaS experience, with significant experience in project leadership roles. Additional experience in Operations is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with SaaS metrics to evaluate program performance. Ability to create basic project dashboards.
  • Basic change management and resource management experience.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Mac OS.
