Whizz is a cutting-edge micro mobility startup based in New York, specializing in sales and rentals of UL-certified electric transport solutions for businesses and delivery drivers. Our mission is to streamline transportation, freeing up drivers to provide top-notch service to their customers hassle-free.

We're looking for a part-time Dispute Resolution Specialist to join our remote team.

Responsibilities of Dispute Resolution Specialist :

  • Conduct thorough investigations into disputed transactions, while collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to gather all necessary information and evidence.
  • Prepare detailed and persuasive responses to customer chargebacks and disputes, addressing each issue with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispute resolution activities and outcomes for reporting purposes.
  • Engage in effective communication through calls and emails related to disputes and negotiations.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on process improvements to increase chargeback recovery ratio.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English (B2+ level)
  • Bachelor's degree in law, paralegal certification or a related field.
  • Previous experience in chargeback and dispute resolution, preferably in Stripe.
  • Strong investigation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

If you also have experience in B2C collections, there is an opportunity for a full-time hybrid position of Dispute Resolution Specialist and Collections Agent.
