Your Impact:

You're an Email Marketing Specialistwho knows how to coordinate lots of moving parts, people, and projects. You can keenly look at a project and understand how our team can best support and inform our customer base, with the ability to seamlessly move between strategy and tactical execution. You're a naturally curious learner who is fascinated by experimentation, testing, and iteration. You're a creative and a copywriter at heart. You invest time and care into tracking campaign performance to continuously elevate our quality bar. You're interested in building and scaling processes for our global teams. And most importantly, you know how to connect with people, whether our internal, cross-functional teams or our customer base.

Your Day to Day:

  • Own email marketing execution – you will oversee intake, executing, measuring, reporting and fine-tuning our email marketing while collaborating with teammates across the entire organization.
  • Maintaining policy compliance - you will become deeply familiar with global policies regarding email marketing to ensure compliance and optimal customer experience.
  • Communicate Results – you will dive deep into data and create a framework to measure effectiveness for our email programs, track results, and continually optimize.
  • Testing - you will A/B test content, audiences, and designs, and continuously research new and exciting trends in the email marketing space to trial.
  • Targeting - you’ll get familiar with our different audience verticals and data sources to be able to target audiences with accuracy.


What you Bring:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience
  • Familiarity with HTML & CSS
  • Superior copywriting and communication skills - you should be a master storyteller.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with Pardot/Account Engagement or similar ESPs/Marketing Automation platforms (Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.).
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter personality and comfort with ambiguity
  • Resourceful- ability to deliver outsized results even with inevitable resource constraints.
  • Curiosity to learn and test new email and marketing automation strategies
  • Performance-oriented mindset
  • B2B marketing experience preferred
  • Excellent collaboration skills to interact with staff, colleagues, customers, cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • Interest in improving processes to streamline
  • Experience with regulatory compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, etc.) preferred
  • An eye for high-quality email design and layout

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 84,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 126,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
