Requirements
- Current certification in ESL. Or have a training of at least 120 hours specifically in teaching English. Example: TESOL, CELTA, TEFL certifications.
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of direct experience teaching ESL classes.
- Preferably 3 to 5 years teaching experience in the computer science engineering field.
- Experience working with adult students or college-level students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, academic staff and students.
- Knowledge of current trends in best practices in the field of ESL.
- Experience required in online teaching.
- Preferably experience in using Canvas/Moodle or another related to LMS.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
