    About this role

    What You’ll Do as an Ethical Trade Executive, Monitoring

    In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

    • Contribute to the implementation and ongoing development of Primark’s Ethical Trade strategy, including SOPs and ways of working

    • Monitor working conditions in new and existing factories, including audit follow-up and remediation of non-compliances

    • Support the new factory approval process, including supplier engagement, audit coordination, and documentation management

    • Provide guidance and support to suppliers, factories, and workers throughout approval and continuous improvement processes

    • Communicate Primark’s ethical trading requirements clearly across the supply base

    • Build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to enable sharing of best practices and continuous improvement

    • Identify, analyse, and proactively report risks to the business

    • Experience in Corporate Responsibility and Ethical Trade

    • Knowledge of audit and remediation processes (e.g. SMETA, SA8000, APSCA)

    • Manage complexity across diverse supply chains

    • Work effectively across cultures in global teams

    • Act as interface between suppliers, factories and internal stakeholders

    • Understand business context and audit programme objectives
