CASE has an opportunity for an experienced remote Facility Security Officer (FSO) servicing the Intelligence Community and DoD clients. CASE is a small business with a non-processing facility. In this role, you will be the single point for the security program at CASE. You will ensure compliance with corporate and government security policies and the safety and security of CASE personnel, materials, and classified or confidential business documents. You will process and review all security clearances and maintain all facility security documentation according to government requirements. You must be familiar with the NISPOM and the security requirements for DoD and other federal agencies.
Your Impactful Duties:
- Maintain existing security binder for all cleared employees, including all their security training (Initial, Annual, Insider Threat, and CUI)
- Administer all facets of our personnel security clearance process.
- Liaison with DSS and other federal security agencies
- Get NISS, DISS, and NBIS Account Create form 441/Create Form 328.
- Update All current DD-254 in NISS.
- Review all DD-254 forms to ensure compliance with NATO, COMSEC, and CUI.
- Conduct and Track participation in Annual Security Refresher and Insider Threat training.
- Prepare for and represent CASE for the Annual onsite FCL Inspection. Review the Self-Inspection handbook.
- Provide security education training updates.
- Record and update the Annual Self-Inspection in the NISS FSO and ITPSO appointment letters.
- Maintain existing Insider Threat program training for CASE.
- Manage all aspects of DISS, including generating a DISS report, submitting periodic reinvestigations for all employees due for PR, ensuring DISS access aligns with the contracts they support, recording foreign travel in DISS, and verifying clearances.
- Facilitate the Insider Threat Working Group and conduct quarterly meetings.
- Ensure that participants in the Group complete the Insider Threat program training.
- Retain copies of all DD-254s
- Conduct employee interviews to ensure they are aware of reporting requirements.
- Update the Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Update and maintain the Insider Threat Program Plan.
- Ensure accounts in DISS, NISS, and NBIS are up to date.
- Involve the Senior Management Official in the security program
Requirements
- Active Top-Secret Clearance
- At least 5 years of experience in Industrial Security is required
- At least 3 years of experience as a Facility Security Officer
- Current FSO training/certification from DSS
- Computer proficient
- Knowledge of DoD security systems
- Familiarity with NISPOM is required
