We are currently seeking an experienced Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) Support Engineer in support of the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS). The position shall provide systems and software engineering services to support the integration, interoperability, and certification of Army systems and subsystems. Responsibilities include facilitating Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) processes, coordinating with the Central Technical Support Facility at Fort Hood, TX, and developing Information Support Plans (ISPs).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF) and test agents at Fort Hood, TX, to obtain AIC certifications.
  • Design, set up, and manage test architecture, including the logistics of equipment for AIC events.
  • Attend Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) tests as required by the Program Management Office (PMO).
  • Troubleshoot system anomalies and performance issues during certification tests.
  • Analyze and document test data, providing detailed reports validating system performance and certification.
  • Prepare and deliver test plans, documentation, and results via email to the Government to validate operational and technical requirements.
  • Design and set up test architecture, manage equipment logistics, and coordinate shipping to and from test locations in support of AIC events.

Qualifications

  • Secret Security Clearance
  • A Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited program in any of the following career fields: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering from a college or university.
  • Ten years experience with Army combat vehicles in the areas of vehicle networking systems and sub-systems, Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) communications equipment operations, and the software certification process. This position requires a minimum of five years experience in a combination of:
  • Network or C5ISR
  • Analysis, evaluation, development, integration, and testing of automotive vehicle electrical/electronic systems including body, chassis, and powertrain electrical hardware and software.
