Job Description
- Prepare monthly accounting packs for Germany, Italy, Spain, and the US in collaboration with external advisors, ensuring compliance with local regulations and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Oversee the invoicing process, manage accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely payments and accurate financial records.
- Manage the company’s treasury functions.
- Contribute to the preparation and analysis of cash flow forecasts to support strategic decision-making and financial planning.
- Maintain and update financial data in tools such as Moss, Datev, etc., ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end closing activities and tax reporting, ensuring compliance with international taxation rules and accounting standards.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably within a startup environment.
- Ability to adapt and operate effectively in a fast-growing and dynamic business environment.
- Proficient understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS, HGB, or equivalents).
- Familiarity with taxation rules across Italy, Spain, Germany, and the US.
- Excellent MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and provide solutions proactively.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial activities.
- Fluency in English is essential, with Spanish, Italian and/or German language skills being a plus.

What's the contract and pay like?
Since December 2022, we operate a transparent compensation framework.
For this job and country, the base salary is 27.745€.

What's the recruitment process like?
- You apply and fill a couple of screening questions.
- We review all applications.
- We invite the top 25% to an online assessment via Vervoe and interview with our People Team via MS Teams.
- We schedule the top 4-5 candidates with our CFO and COO.
- We make an offer and conduct background checks.
