What you are accountable for:
The Financial Controller is accountable for providing close day-to-day support to the SVP Finance and lead the UK finance team to provide the control framework and analytical support needed by the business and senior management.
What you are responsible for:
- Manage all accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, cost accounting and payroll.
- Support client and supplier onboarding.
- Collaborate with Client Finance Manager on revenue recognition and analyzing Client/project profitability.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage the month-end process, ensuring that reports are timely and accurate.
- Manage the year end audit process to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Coordinate and review of Selling General & Administrative annual budgets and forecasts.
- Preparation of UK, Singapore, and Australia balance sheet forecasts
- Prepare and file UK VAT return and Singapore GST return.
- Liaise with US colleagues for all accounting and finance matters – Including inter-country and inter-company recharges.
- Collaborate with global finance team to ensure processes and tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Represent Finance in system-implementation projects.
- Develop monthly cashflow forecast for management.
- Develop a broad understanding of the main revenue and cost drivers across the business and provide explanations for any large variances.
- Provide additional day -to-day support to the wider Finance team as required.
- Lead and line manage a team
