Summary

The franchise deal coordinator is responsible for supporting the franchise sales team by managing the deal process for the Company’s independent distributor franchisee (“franchisee”) program from application to close. Duties include managing franchise territory transactions including franchise distributor sales, Company territory sales, and partials. The franchise deal coordinator will be responsible for all communications with buyer and seller, the collection of required documentation, and data generation and data processing as pertaining to all territory sales and partials.

Job Responsibilities

• Function as subject matter expert and the single point of contact for complete sales process with Franchise Buyer and Seller
• Liaison between buyer, seller, and franchise sales manager
• Transmit requests for Franchisee Application & Personal Financial Statements, Memo of Understanding, Credit Score, MVR, Background check, Corporation Verification and Business Plan to all parties and establish timeline for deal approval
• Coordinate business plan review and formal candidate interview with Franchise Operations Coordinator and DSD Sales team (Area Sales Director/Market Vice-President)
• Communicate with sales company management, training, legal and compliance
• Create, oversee, and manage data tools for all franchise deals and partial sales
• Create new territory description (new territory sales/partials)/map franchise by territory description
• Create loan financing documents, create sales documents, and transmit all documents electronically for signatures

• Efficiently build territory sales file

• Process data into Distributor Maintenance/Activate Buyer/Deactivate Seller
• Efficiently organize and upload all sale documents to treasury manager – Flowers Finance
• Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
• Perform other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures.

Desired Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years practical business experience
  • Minimum of 2 years franchise (territory) sales experience
  • Proven track record of operational and organizational skills required

Desired Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
