Job Description

Company Description

We are a product company that develops a CRM for the healthcare sector, used by leading clinics in the Enterprise segment in Spain, Italy, and Latin America. Our goal is to simplify the patient's journey in the clinic, from booking to payment and accessing medical records, using cutting-edge technologies.

We are actively seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our team, which consists of four talented individuals. This role presents a unique opportunity to take ownership of projects and engage in knowledge-sharing within the team. Our company fosters an environment that encourages personal growth and welcomes the introduction of new technologies and solutions. We seek proactive individuals with a keen eye for quality and attention to detail. If you're ready to embrace the next challenge, we are committed to supporting your success!

๐Ÿ’ป Our tech stack
The CRM product's foundation is in PHP and MySQL, currently undergoing an upgrade from PHP7 to PHP8. The internal team optimizes performance using Redis for versatile key-value caching, and Elasticsearch for logging and enhanced search capabilities.

Gearman handles queuing, React powers the frontend, and there's an exploration of React Native for mobile apps. DevOps relies on AWS, managed with Terraform and GitHub self-hosted for CI/CD.

While the codebase is monolithic, weโ€™re transitioning to Kubernetes (EKS) for a more agile architecture post-deprecation of the current AWS service. This shift will pave the way for microservices in both frontend and backend components, ensuring scalability and adaptability

Job Description

As a frontend developer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Actively participating in designing, implementing, and supporting the development, optimization, testing, and monitoring of systems for new features in web/mobile applications used by millions of users daily.
  • Collaborating within a cross-functional team composed of developers, designers, UX specialists, testers, and product owners, where your insights are valued and incorporated.
  • Translating company and customer needs into functional and visually appealing interactive web designs and applications.

We expect you to be a tech-savvy professional with a curiosity for emerging digital technologies, aspiring to blend usability with visual design.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Possesses proven work experience as a Frontend Developer, with a minimum of 2 years on frontend projects using reactive frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).

  • Holds expertise and experience across the entire frontend stack: HTML5, CSS, Web API, toolchains, and build tools (Webpack, Rollup, esbuild, etc.), along with developer workflows.
  • Has knowledge of React, and the ability to build a project from the ground up (npx create-react-app my-app is not sufficient!).
  • Pays meticulous attention to graphical and code details when creating new features or refining existing ones (we scrutinize down to the single pixel!).
  • Has knowledge of Design System and the ability to create Components knowing its fundamentals
  • Is fluent in Italian and can communicate in English at least at an intermediate level
