Job Description
Responsibilities:
● Design, implement & deploy complex, scalable and maintainable web application frontends and backends
● Take UI/UX designs from concept to implementation with a high degree of accuracy
● Work with a team of artists, designers and other engineers
● Develop systems or tools that help speed up development
● Raise and/or solve complex technical issues when they arise
● Identify inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements
● Lead projects and mentor junior team members
Requirements:
● Minimum6+years professional work experience in a similar role
● Experience building complex customer facing web application frontends
● Experience developing scalable backend APIs, integrating with 3rd party APIs
● Proficiency in both desktop & mobile web development
● A good understanding of web application performance & a strong attention to detail
● Knowledge of best practices with regards to security
● Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, PHP, SQL
● Experience with AWS
● Experience with Git
● Strong team player with the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
● Excellent English verbal and written communications skills, with experience working within a multi-disciplinary team
Secondary Requirements:
● Experience with Vue and/or React
● Experience with Laravel
● Experience with Linux systems, infrastructure management & CI/CD
● Experience with PlayFab
● Knowledge of other programming languages
