Job Description

Position: Global Director of Corporate Affairs

Location: NA, Brazil, Europe, UK

As the PTW family of brands grows, the business has a growing need for a skilled leader to help run our Corporate Affairs department. Our footprint stretches 16 countries and over 4,000 employees; we are looking for someone capable of coordinating and executing strategy for internal and external comms on a global scale. This person will work hand in hand with the C-Suite and Studio Heads to bolster our presence in the media, drive unique evergreen stories around the nearly 150 AAA titles we work on each year, and help us build company culture by spearheading our global ESG programs.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has deep communications experience, but is willing to add value across the board, no matter the situation. Whether that’s a board presentation, a press tour in Europe, a site opening in South America, or a crisis in India, the kind of person we are looking for is someone who isn’t afraid of trying their hand at something new, even if it might be outside their comfort zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Crafting and executing strategy for all internal and external communications. This is one bullet, but we mean it – soup to nuts, communications is your remit.
    • On the internal comms side, that means Quarterly All-Hands, CEO updates, annual Employee Satisfaction Surveys, site tours with the C-Suite, monthly executive fireside chats, and more.
    • On the external comms side, that means press releases, media tours, media training, speaking engagements, analyst relations programs, M&A activities, investor relations projects, quarterly business reviews with our board, and more.
  • Managing our Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives globally, including sustainability and transparency reports. This includes:
    • Working hand in hand with Site Heads and Line of Business Heads to bolster the work our local Employee Working Groups do for our ESG initiatives.
    • Building relationships with local universities, managing our global internship program, and help grow the culture of PTW.
  • Managing a global budget and team (either internally or through agency partners) to help bring your vision of the communications department at PTW to life.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who wants to help us continue to build a modern communications department inside a rapidly growing company playing in a rapidly evolving gaming landscape. It will be challenging, you will never run out of things to do, and you’ll have the chance to truly leave your mark on a global company as we head towards some exciting growth milestones as an organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ year experience in corporate communications and/or public relations
  • Experience managing teams and/or agencies and being responsible for a global budget
  • Strong creative and leadership skills – give us something we can’t get from asking ChatGPT
  • Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy
  • Experience working directly with senior company leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors, including but not limited to PR agencies, branding agencies, event logistics companies, etc.
  • Ability to visualize, strategize, and execute on a cohesive strategy for internal and external communications – this is your department, the buck stops with you
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, succeed under pressure, and roll with the demands of the business (and how quickly things change)
  • Ability to speak up and go to bat for your team, for resources, for whatever you need to be successful in your role
  • Experience juggling multiple projects at one time, preferably on multiple continents
  • Familiarity with the gaming industry and overall enthusiasm for gaming is a massive plus
  • Up to 25% travel; passport required for this position

Benefits

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive salary with annual bonus based on company performance
  • 401K with company contribution
  • Group insurance benefits coverage
  • Paid personal and sick leave
  • Flexible & hybrid work model
  • Employee assistance program for you and your family
  • Company provided gaming laptop and phone
  • Fun, diverse, inclusive and collaborative work environment
  • Ability to work with and learn from an engaged senior team, committed to your development and finding the right opportunities for you to shine
  • The opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of clients on a range of high-profile projects
