Job Description

Lime is the world's largest shared electric vehicle company. We’re on a mission to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free. Our electric bikes and scooters have powered 400+ million rides in 250+ cities on 5 continents, replacing an estimated 100+ million car trips. Named a Time 100 Most Influential Company and Fast Company Brand That Matters, we achieved a fully profitable year in 2022, becoming the first in our industry to reach this milestone.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Global Operations - Events Strategy & Planning to spearhead a new function focused on developing and executing scalable strategies to leverage existing events, particularly those with 5,000 to 150,000 attendees, in Lime's 285+ local markets to grow our business. This role will work closely with our local operations teams to capitalize on existing events in our markets, designing and implementing events that simplify the rider experience, enhance vehicle availability, and boost awareness and utilization. The ideal candidate has experience in event management, marketing strategy, and operational coordination, and is passionate about developing frameworks and strategies to ensure Lime can seamlessly leverage existing events through improved and more effective operational and marketing tactics.
This is a London based remote position. The individual hired for this position must live within one hour of Lime's London warehouse.

What You'll Do:

  • Event Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a repeatable and scalable event strategy tailored to local market needs, with the goal of improving pick-up and drop-off experiences, increasing vehicle utilization, and driving rider engagement.
  • Collaboration with Local Operations: Partner with local operations teams to identify event and venue opportunities, ensure vehicle supply matches demand, and facilitate smooth execution of drop-off and pick-up logistics for events.
  • Customer Engagement & Activation: Work with the Growth and Marketing teams to leverage communication, promotion, and pricing levers to maximize vehicle utilization, acquire new riders and increase post-event retention. Collaborate with the Design team to build event communications templates and bespoke content and assets.
  • Event Logistics & Operations: Develop and standardize playbooks to ensure vehicle availability and optimize the logistics of vehicle placement for events of all types and sizes.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Define KPIs to measure the success of events in terms of vehicle utilization, rider lifetime value, and operational efficiency. Regularly report on event performance, providing insights to guide future strategy.
  • Scalability & Best Practices: Create playbooks for local operators, outlining best practices and a framework for executing successful events. Incorporate automation opportunities to streamline processes, ensuring strategies can be easily replicated across multiple markets with minimal effort.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working for a B2C/DTC organization in event management, field marketing, or related roles, preferably in a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment.
  • Strong operational and logistics management skills, with experience coordinating complex events and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute global event strategies at scale that drive customer engagement and business results.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to measure success and inform decision-making.
