With regular opportunities for personal development, the team is well-equipped to push boundaries within digital content and SEO.

You'll need to be a people person with a strong desire to support others and see them succeed. This will include organising workflow, developing skills and setting goals for a team of 5 - 10. You will also need strong Spanish language skills, ideally at native level.

Because you will be responsible for supervising, managing, and motivating team members on a daily basis, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to:

  • Act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration
  • Give your team members timely, meaningful, and actionable feedback that will empower them to perform at their best
  • Organize and optimise workflow to maximise productivity
  • Help your team members develop their skills and improve job performance

On top of this, you will also be supporting the Growth Marketing Manager in promoting Twinkl and educating our key demographic on the value we can give them. As Team Leader for Spain and a series of LATAM markets that includes Chile, Mexico, Argentina, Peru and Colombia, you will help optimise our marketing strategies, pinpoint opportunities for growth, participate in marketing review sessions, as well as prepare forecasts and reports when needed.

A typical day will involve:

  • Working directly with Digital Copywriters to ensure they have the support needed to hit their KPIs.
  • Conducting Copy Quality checks to ensure our copy is consistent and error-free.
  • Working with a team of enthusiastic and supportive leaders in Growth Marketing to ensure that workflow and processes are scalable and output is efficient.
  • Constructing monthly work plans that capitalise on keyword opportunities across each of your markets.
  • Collaborate with the production teams to ensure we strategise effectively across teams.
  • Data analysis for multiple domains.
  • Taking on Specialist projects with progression in the role in various facets of SEO, leadership, operations and team development.

To succeed in the role, you will:

  • Have native-level Spanish-speaking skills and a good level of English.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the Growth Marketing Strategy.
  • Have knowledge of the Spain/LATAM market and culture.
  • Demonstrable consistency in achieving and exceeding targets in an SEO/copywriting role.
  • Have a professional knowledge of digital content and SEO.
  • Be comfortable organising and delegating work to maximise business impact, from calculating team members’ monetary impact to pivoting on new opportunities as they arise.
  • Show familiarity with reporting tools such as Data Studio and Google Sheets.
  • Be analytical and methodical, able to systematically work through hypotheses and arrive at actions.
  • Be able to explain complicated ideas in a way that is easy for less experienced team members and non-SEO professionals to follow and understand.

As a leader at Twinkl, you will:

  • Recognise that there is no "one size fits all" approach to leadership, taking the time to get to know each team member personally to understand their strengths, interests and ambitions
  • Hold 1:1s every 1-2 weeks with your team to discuss and evaluate performance, collaborating on a roadmap for their development
  • Manage HR processes and administration for your team (eg. contract/salary reviews, holiday requests etc.)
  • Communicate key business messages, owning the narrative on decisions made and ensuring effective feedback
