About the team
The Marketing Strategy and Operations team is responsible for organizational effectiveness and transformational programs in marketing and sales development. We help create the conditions for high performance by others. And we drive programs that make things noticeably better for internal and external users.
What you’ll do
Responsibilities
- Help create the conditions for the marketing and sales development teams to do their best work, efficiently.
- Lead a portfolio of transformational programs to generate more revenue and more revenue per team member in ways that are great for internal and external users.
- Develop and deploy an investment framework to guide resource allocation decisions. Use the framework in planning cycles and whenever we make key investment decisions.
- Partner closely with the finance, people, and go-to-market operations teams to drive planning processes including investment decisions, strategy updates, operational plans, targets and goals (OKRs), and communication plans.
- Independently define programs for specific problems. This includes scoping, setting objectives, defining success criteria, and influencing resource allocation to solve for it.
- Assemble a clear understanding of our internal and external users’ needs, leveraging your product sense to drive solution delivery. You will represent user voices to all stakeholders including engineering and other stakeholders involved in delivering solutions.
- Understand marketing, sales development, and related systems and architecture. Understand the technical and business use cases, relevant systems, and constraints sufficiently so you are able to represent marketing and sales development independently to cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Prepare summaries of organizational performance and progress for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews, monthly internal newsletters, and all hands meetings.
- Work with partner teams like brand and marketing creative and go to market analytics to prioritize roadmaps and deliver on the most impactful work.
- Bring rapid clarity to ambiguous situations, resolve them effectively, communicate decisions efficiently, and enable teams to move towards implementing solutions. Bring your experience and contextual knowledge to bear on the problems that teams need to solve.
