We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support and enhance Human Resources processes systems. The IT BSA will serve as a bridge between HR and IT, responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and implementing technology solutions that improve HR efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR processes, systems, and best practices, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Instrumental in building and support of business relationships and influence across Extreme business units, Payroll, Information Technology departments, as well as, other internal and external vendor teams to provide systems support and act as a champion and SME (Subject Matter Expert) for People Analytics between the technical/design staff and operational/strategic teams to ensure all Extreme business requirements are met, not limited to: scope, objectives, issues, organizational impact, helping to drive long-term strategic direction, design requirements, features, functionality and progressive enhancements of new technologies and data analytic requirements.
  • Support cross-functional, risk and governance teams to monitor system performance and identify processes that need improvement, recommend solution, collaborate with/develops for design, build, configuration, UAT, and act as SME through rollout/implementation of needed code changes for HR (Human Resources) technologies impacting employees in numerous ways.
  • Create and execute automation for data mining requests utilizing Oracle’s OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), Excel and Power Automate
  • System Administrator for HR platforms.
  • Proactively work with Reporting and HRIS systems to troubleshoot and solve problems, conduct audits, and create checks and balances to ensure integrity of data.
  • Provide technical solutions/insights to clients across various functions and HR Business Partners.
  • Document, streamline, recommend, configure, and automate HR guidelines, processes, and procedures as part of system implementation and/or business process re-engineering projects.
  • Coordinates completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time requirements.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, design, and implement enhancements or change requests for Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Performance Mgmt, and other functions.
  • Aid as requested with technical needs regarding various HR platforms including Oracle HCM
  • Communicate data and analysis findings to a non-technical audience in an exceptional manner.

  • Coordinates closely with HR and IT counterparts on a company-wide basis to ensure consistency and continuity in human resources systems and processes.
  • Working as part of a global team – following a standard methodology and approach for all areas of their scope that drives consistency across
  • Use strong negotiation, influencing and socialization skills to ensure that key identified stakeholders are made aware of and kept up to date with the latest information regarding HR Systems
  • Develop effective communication channels, through regular feedback and team collaboration which ensure all stakeholders understand priorities, are informed of changes and have up to date business information.

Skills Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, HR management, business administration, or similar certifications.
  • Four plus years of experience in information systems, computer tools/technology, Human Resources systems or Project Management support.
  • Experience in Oracle/ Workday/Power BI/Tableau preferred
  • Experienced with Basic Payroll Setup and Salary Configuration
  • Experience with Absence Mgmt Time Labor Functionality
  • Experienced in building and analyzing data models. Well versed in SQL, RTF templates
  • Experienced in Approval Workflow Configurations
  • Effective project management skills: expertise in driving projects and initiatives, demonstrating benefits of projects to the organization, and translating customer and business needs into technical requirements
  • Strong functional computer skills with knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems, specifically HR and how they interface and interact with other modules
  • Demonstrated ability to reason logically and analyze technical and business problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to define procedural problems, collect and evaluate data, draw conclusions, and project consequences of various alternative recommendations.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal written communication, and attention to detail as demonstrated by previous work experience, application materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Microsoft Office products, including Visio, Advanced Excel including Power Query, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate positively and constructively with others from various units to accomplish common goals.
