About the Role
As an HR Manager / People Manager you will lead driving excellence and efficiency across HR processes, employee relations, culture, workplace operations and payroll. You will collaborate with our team across the globe. You will ensure compliance, cultivate culture, engage employees, develop talent and contribute to strategic initiatives that align with our business goals.
Employee Relations & Support
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries and escalate complex issues.
- Handle sensitive employee relations cases, including maternity/paternity leave, flexible working requests, and conflict resolution.
- Lead probation reviews, facilitate dismissals, and conduct regular 1:1 meetings with managers to address team challenges.
Global HR Coordination
- Manage Employer of Record (EOR) platforms like Deel to ensure compliance in 14+ regions.
- Provide guidance on employment status, contractor compliance, and regional employment laws.
HR Operations
- Manage HR systems (HiBob) to maintain data integrity, onboard new starters, and process leavers.
- Draft and issue HR documents such as contracts, offer letters, and ER-related outcome letters.
- Ensure GDPR compliance and update policies across regions to meet local employment laws.
- Administer global benefits platforms, ensuring employees access and understand their benefits while optimizing offerings.
Employee Engagement & Development
- Lead the annual engagement survey, including design, distribution, data analysis, and presenting findings.
- Organise workshops to address challenges and create actionable strategies.
- Oversee cultural and social initiatives through the “Ministry of Fun” and working with the HR Administrator and manage Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) programs.
Managerial & Strategic Support
- Collaborate with the Senior Management Team (SMT) by attending meetings, advising on HR strategies, and providing updates on business priorities.
- Lead the Triptease Managers' Community group to foster leadership growth and share HR insights across teams.
Workspace & Operational Management
- Oversee Hubble on Demand for flexible workspace options and manage global office operations, including logistics, contracts, and guest passes.
- Continuously refine internal processes to enhance HR service delivery and operational excellence.
Payroll
- Work with Finance to submit payroll reports for multiple regions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
- Provide data and approvals for regional payroll processing and continuously refine payroll processes for efficiency.
Requirements
About You:
We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented individual, who knows that cultivating and managing talent and performance is a key to business success. You will have experience of managing the with a passion for employee engagement and process improvement. You’ll excel in this role if you have:
- 5+ years of proven experience in leading the HR Function.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems, policies, and compliance requirements.
- The ability to influence and coach at a senior manager level
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimisation.
- Experience working with global teams and managing cultural initiatives.
- Having worked in a startup / scaleup environment or SaaS / Tech industry exposure (not essential)
