We are seeking an experienced Hubspot Specialist to plan, lead, and implement Hubspot development and projects across the company. This role will be the lead product owner of all modules in Hubspot and guide the way we use the tool and how it is integrated into the day to day work of our team.


From onboarding and training new team members, to assisting with settings, to creating user enablement tools, this role is responsible for ensuring our team members are confident Hubspot users and that we are optimizing our use of the tool across the company. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to help them work better in Hubspot.

Roles & Responsibilities:

This is a multifaceted role with a mix of routine tasks and those that are a result of conversations (planned and unplanned) related to the projects we’re working on. While the below responsibilities are not exhaustive, your work will fall into these categories:


01 | Hubspot Development

This is where you’ll help bring ideas to life to help our cross-functional teams be more efficient and productive.


  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to create and maintain a fully-optimized Hubspot workspace for cross-functional teams.

  • Embrace the unique methods that the Operations team utilizes to support people using Hubspot effectively so that you can give expert feedback and guidance on how our setup can be improved.

  • Work with the Director of Operations, Operations Manager, and Systems Team Lead to scope out, process map, and plan the development of workflows company-wide.

  • Ensure seamless data flow between the Hubspot and other systems.

  • Serve as the lead Hubspot implementer and Hubspot development project manager.

  • Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights. 

  • Work autonomously to complete assigned tasks correctly, on time, and free of errors.

  • Manage and respond to Hubspot help requests within 24 business hours via written text, screenshots, and/or video recordings.


02 | Hubspot Maintenance and Improvement

You understand thateven though a workflow is built, the work is never done.


  • Stay on top of Hubspot’s new feature releases and teach key stakeholders how to utilize these features to improve existing workflows.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of Hubspot configurations, processes, and integrations. 

  • Oversee release management, including the preparation of end-user documentation and training materials.

  • Develop and implement a Hubspot workspace maintenance process that ensures it is optimized and data is cleaned on a regular basis.

  • Execute data governance policies, data hygiene best practices, and routine data quality audits. 

  • Identify opportunities to improve our Hubspot workspace by 1% every day.

  • Onboard and offboard Hubspot users according to human resources requirements.


03 | Hubspot Project Management

Our operations team believes that #teamworkmakesthedreamwork. This means you won’t be working alone.


  • Plan and manage tightly-scoped projects with limited guidance and support.

  • Manage and monitor project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and adjusting project plans as necessary.

  • Ensure all projects are delivered to the highest quality standards and meet relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Proactively work to remove project obstacles. Identify and manage issue escalations. Quickly escalate issues that cause projects or tasks to stall.

  • Actively seek to remove Hubspot development projects from our Director of Operations so that work doesn’t bottleneck at her desk.

04 | Troubleshooting & Bug-Tracking

As a tech expert, you know that sometimes bugs appear on even the most carefully constructed workflows.

  • Find solutions to underlying problems that will improve the user experience, reduce waste, and support business goals.

  • Identify, fix and/or find workarounds for technical issues with multi-step precision and fine detail.

  • Keep a detailed record of user-submitted bug reports and serve as our team’s primary point of contact with Hubspot HQ’s help desk.

  • Explain Hubspot issues to key stakeholders clearly and concisely, avoiding technical Hubspot jargon, and with as little back and forth as possible.

  • You’re a patient problem-solver. You can easily talk to others who don’t know the ins and outs of Hubspot, ask curious questions, figure out the underlying issue, and determine elegant solutions to meet their needs (even if the result is different than originally anticipated).

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Extensive experience using and setting up Hubspot for various businesses

  • Hubspot Solutions Provider or Partner verification a plus

  • Proficiency in the English language, both in written and oral communication

  • Reliable, high-speed internet access that can support Google Meet meetings with 10+ participants

  • Experience working with an international multicultural team is a plus

  • Located +/- two hours from Mountain Standard Time a plus
