Title: HR Operations Director

Responsibilities for the HR Operations Director Role:
- Operational Delivery: Provide leadership, direction & oversight of delivery for HR programs and workstreams. This includes accurate and efficient execution on global compensation and benefits; as well as collaborating with other teams on tools and processes for performance management, onboarding and offboarding. Ensure HR services, processes, policies & procedures are communicated, implemented & aligned. Partner with Edge PM team to develop functional solutions for managing our Edge talent marketplace. Facilitate and develop HR operations processes & tools.
- Project Management: Manage & implement internal HR and cross-functional projects, programs & initiatives. Develop & manage aligned production, communications, service delivery plans & workflows to ensure plans are successfully implemented & services are delivered on time, on budget & to specifications.
- Strategy and Policy: Work with Edge leadership to establish appropriate and competitive policies and programs in each of our talent hub cities - this includes compensation frameworks, compliance programs, and necessary tools or partnerships.
- Data Management & Analysis: Be accountable for availability and maintenance of HR data for the Edge talent network. Partner with BI team to ensure databases and processes are effective for storing and using critical employee data. Research & compile information to support ad-hoc operational projects & initiatives. Synthesize & analyze data & provide detailed summaries including graphical data presentations illustrating trends & recommending practical options or solutions while considering the impact on business strategy & supporting leadership decision making. Leverage program & operational data & measurements to define & demonstrate progress, ROI & impacts.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable local laws & regulations for Peru, Pakistan and additional countries we enter for our Talent team.
Reports to our Chief Delivery Officer.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in HR/People Operations-related roles, ideally with global teams
- Independent self-starter, with an appetite for learning and working across multiple projects and programs
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet target dates, as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to establish trust and credibility with employees at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with HR Systems and implementation of programs from scratch, ideally in a startup environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
