Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Innovation Product Manager to lead our Innovations Team. In this role, you will work closely with the business to identify new opportunities for platform improvements, manage the design and development of new features, and oversee the team responsible for gathering requirements and proposing solutions. This position combines elements of product management and business analysis, making it ideal for someone who thrives on driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Innovations Team: Manage a team of Business Analysts and other innovation professionals who are responsible for researching and developing new platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with business leaders to identify areas for improvement, gather feedback, and develop a clear vision for new platform features and enhancements.
- Product Management: Act as the product owner for new features, managing the entire lifecycle from concept to implementation. Prioritize features based on business needs and technical feasibility.
- Requirement Gathering: Oversee the collection of detailed business requirements, working with your team and stakeholders to ensure all necessary information is documented and understood.
- Solution Design: Work with your team to propose new business processes and software features that meet business needs. Ensure alignment with technical teams on feasibility and approach.
- Feature Roadmap: Develop and maintain a roadmap for platform improvements, balancing short-term business needs with long-term strategic goals.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, QA, and other teams to ensure smooth delivery of new features and capabilities.
- Performance Monitoring: Track the performance of deployed features and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Innovation Strategy: Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend innovative ideas that can be applied to improve the platform.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in US Based companies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related role within a software development environment.
- Familiarity with AWS Marketplace.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering high-impact projects.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, particularly with product or project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian XRAY.
- Knowledge of best practices for business process optimization and software design.
- Familiarity with current trends and best practices in innovation and product development.
