Summary:
The Office of Digital Learning & Strategy (ODLS) uses the latest educational technology and resources to support AU faculty in the development, design and delivery of the highest quality online educational experiences. We are seeking a detail oriented, creative, self-starter to join our team and support Instructional Designers in the development of online courses in Canvas. This role is an exciting opportunity for a current student interested in understanding the instructional design process and utilizing various instructional technology tools to develop online courses in a university setting.
Essential Functions:
Work with ODLS instructional designers and media specialists to design and develop new courses and revise existing courses in Canvas.
Develop engaging course assets utilizing instructional technology tools such as H5P and PlayPosIt.
Review courses for quality and alignment to the design strategy.
Complete special projects as assigned, typically surrounding the development of course assets.
Salary Range:
$22.00 per hour.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Fully remote.
15 hours per week, with no more than 20 hours per week.
This is a semester long appointment with the option to continue based on university funding.
Due to recent employment restrictions, all applicants must currently reside in the United States.

A current American University student.
