Opportunity:
Virtual Service Operations is searching for a Jr. Windows System Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform 24x7x365 administration and maintenance activities on various Windows servers in use.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Windows administration and troubleshooting of OS/hardware issues (3+ years)
- Experience working with and supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2003-2019 systems and Active Directory in a large (5,000+) user environment (1-3 years)
- Experience Patching/Updating Windows Servers (1-3 years)
- Experience working with Virtualization/Hypervisors/VMs (1-3 years)
Qualifications:
- Technical Certification in CompTIA Security+
- Network+, Server+ or equivalent educational requirements/professional experience
- Quest ActiveRoles experience
- WSUS experience
- Altiris (Symantec Management Platform)
- Familiarity with SAN/NAS infrastructure
- Dell/Cisco UCS physical server management
- PowerShell scripting experience
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
- Must be located in the USA
- Must be willing and able to undergo agovernment Public Trust (SF-85) background investigation.
