Role Overview :

The Traffic Team is responsible for setting up the users to get traffic to their online presence. We want to make it super easy for our users to setup their business in a way that their story is best reflected on their websites and is ready to get conversions. The team is responsible for components related to Website’s creation, content management system, delivery, SEO etc.

The role is very important to deliver numerous experiences through which our users will be able to tell their story and reflect it into something understandable by their visitors.
This role will make it possible by developing user interfaces and products integrating seamlessly with other parts of Jimdo using frontend technologies.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing user interfaces and products integrating seamlessly with other parts of Jimdo using frontend technologies.

  • Uphold a high standard of code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.

  • Keep the different libraries up to date and maintain the frontend applications.

  • Contribute to the frontend of Website Creation process integrating with AI tools.

  • Contribute in improving the quality of the frontend applications.

What you bring to the table:

  • 1-2 years of experience in React and Typescript.

  • Experience with at least one state management technique.

  • Ability to integrate different data fetching techniques in the application.

  • Ability to work with a global team in a distributed work environment.

  • An inclination towards writing and maintaining consistent and clear documentation for other developers and stakeholders.

  • A genuine interest in UX principles and design patterns.

  • Experience with testing patterns (from unit to e2e).
